Is the HDP Version 3.1.5 free for user?

Hi team, currently I have chosen the HDP Version 3.1.5 to gain insights from structured and unstructured data, but I feel confused because of Cloudera announcement about moving to a subscription model, Does All of technology about HDP remain, free and open source?  if I have a cluster running HDP 3.1.5 without a subscription but have the local repo, does it allow me to use it for free?

@Bryan_zh Everything HDP and CDP latest versions are required subscription. On of the similar concern we discussed in this thread:

https://community.cloudera.com/t5/Support-Questions/Downloading-hdp-3-1-5-and-ambari-2-7-5/td-p/2999...

However you can use HDP sandbox if that works for you for free.

In short if you notice the repos link now and if you see "/p" this means it's behind the paywall and you need subscription to access.

https://docs.cloudera.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-2.7.5.0/bk_ambari-installation/content/hdp_315_reposit...

However as you said you have local repo with binaries setup I am not 100% sure this will work I haven’t tested but as per paywall Expansion notice that’s required subscription.
