Yarn resourcemanager keeps writing status of each running/finished application in the statestore. Statestore usually are managed in either zookeeper or in localFS based on our configurations. When the RM turns from standby to active it looks for the latest commits made by the other RM and loads them. If this information is lost at any given point, RM will fail to load the application information.

Can you verify one, whether did you followed all the steps listed in the documentation? https://docs.cloudera.com/runtime/7.1.1/ozone-storing-data/topics/ozone-setting-up-ozonefs.html

Hi Guy, Please try adjusting your command to the following: ozone sh volume create --quota=1TB --user=hdfs o3://ozone1/tests Note the documentation states that the last parameter is a URI in the format <prefix>://<Service ID>/<path>. Service Id is what you found in ozone-site.xml.

@ni4ni Yes that is not the right place, according to the link that i've given above this configuration change should go to core-site.xml, so search for "Cluster-wide Advanced Configuration Snippet (Safety Valve) for core-site.xml" and add/modify as needed and restart the namenode

Hello I noticed that in the creation of the first keystore I did not change the CN to the appropriate value, so I had inconsistency between the keystore on the first host and on the other nodes. I tried the whole process again with the appropriate CN (I had snapshots from before the change) and this time it worked ! Just to be sure it's not an accident I will do the whole thing again. Thank you very much for your help Guy
