Hello!  Will any kind user tell me where can I find using manual of HUE Platform?I am getting ready to develop Big Data applications on HUE but I find some cumbersome issues on it,Thanks in advance.

Hello,I’m facing an issue while trying to connect with the hive ODBC driver through a proxy to access a hive database. The SNI field in the request is populated with the proxy url instead of the destination url. While performing a direct connection to the hive database, the SNI field is populated with the url of hive database, if I wanted to use a proxy between the server with Hive ODBC driver and the Hive database, the SNI field is populated with the proxy url.In that case, my hive database, is enable to recognize the database I wanted to access to. Is there any parameters for solved this issue?ThanksThierry

I'm using CDH-6.2.0. and hue. HUE_LOAD_BALANCER is run fine. But HUE_SERVER does not run on each node(2 node).I've looked at the logs, but I can't find any problems. The strange thing is that even if you run the server once, it looks like it is running 4 times in the runcpserver.log as shown in the figure below, and in the supervisor log, you can see a log saying that it was executed too many times. That's my own log file.supervisord.log  2021-03-30 16:37:03,391 INFO spawned: '178-hue-HUE_SERVER' with pid 243782021-03-30 16:37:12,722 INFO exited: 178-hue-HUE_SERVER (exit status 0; not expected)2021-03-30 16:37:13,726 INFO spawned: '178-hue-HUE_SERVER' with pid 245862021-03-30 16:37:22,823 INFO exited: 178-hue-HUE_SERVER (exit status 0; not expected)2021-03-30 16:37:24,829 INFO spawned: '178-hue-HUE_SERVER' with pid 248572021-03-30 16:37:33,645 INFO exited: 178-hue-HUE_SERVER (exit status 0; not expected)2021-03-30 16:37:36,653 INFO spawned: '178-hue-HUE_SERVER' with

We have a scenario where PG-A has child PGs like PG-A1, PG-A2. Everything works fine with versioning of all PGs along with importing PG-A which imports all child PGs into any other Nifi Development instance. However, when we move the registry content from dev to UAT enviroment. Importing of parent PG give error like below. However, child PGs get imported individually without any issue.  "The Flow Registry with ID f9eb8fe6-0176-1000-a53b-838685a98fb8 reports that no Flow exists with Bucket 29a08c71-a056-4e1a-8e8e-0f46abcc50c9, Flow fee2a7e1-3716-42ce-881f-071ef0240fd9, Version 10" Can you please suggest anything to take of when doing this migration? Any workaround? Thanks,PR

Hello Team, I am working the tutorial on RDD. I am having some difficulties understanding some commands. Can you please advise what steps 3-8 do?. Encode the Schema in a stringval schemaString = "name age"4. Generate the schema based on the string of schemaval fields = schemaString.split(" ").map(fieldName => StructField(fieldName, StringType, nullable = true))val schema = StructType(fields)5. Convert records of the RDD (people) to Rowsval rowRDD = peopleRDD.map(_.split(",")).map(attributes => Row(attributes(0), attributes(1).trim))6. Apply the schema to the RDDval peopleDF = spark.createDataFrame(rowRDD, schema)6. Creates a temporary view using the DataFramepeopleDF.createOrReplaceTempView("people")7. SQL can be run over a temporary view created using DataFramesval results = spark.sql("SELECT name FROM people")8.The results of SQL queries are DataFrames and support all the normal RDD operations. The columns of a row in the result can be accessed by field index or

Hi, We have been asked by the client to do a Cloudera Demo. What's the easiest way to deploy such a solution for CDH on a single machine with virtualization? I was used to deploying it using Cloudera Quickstart VM but it seems that no official version of it is downloadable anymore from Cloudera Website. The closest thing looks like to be the Proof-of-concept version but it looks kind of complicated. Not having VM images for the hosts in the cluster is rather upsetting and looks tedious to implement from scratch. Thank you,Cisco

Hi, I've enabled Auto-TLS as instructed in option 2b (https://docs.cloudera.com/cdp-private-cloud-base/7.1.4/security-encrypting-data-in-transit/topics/cm-security-use-case-2.html) but my agents are reporting heartbeat failed in /var/log/cloudera-scm-agent/cloudera-scm-agent.log. Agent at master does not have problems with it's heartbeat. The environment is CDP 7.1.4 with CDP 7.1.3 parcels.I have a development license in place. Also noticed following messages in the certmanager log:"[03/Nov/2020 20:46:58 +0200] 16654 MainThread cert INFO No password file found for host 'masterofanalytics.hemanuniverse.com' at location: /opt/cloudera/AutoTLS/hosts-key-store/masterofanalytics.hemanuniverse.com/cm-auto-host_key.pw. Hello Everyone, can you please tell me the difference between DataFrames and DataSets (with examples)? The explanations is still unclearhttp://spark.apache.org/docs/2.4.0/sql-programming-guide.html Thanks, Roshan

I have dataflow files which has to be routed on the basis of certain criteria. It has multiple field like ("Customefied_23456: "Null") in the key: value pair. My query is how  to filter out the flowfile which contain the some value for customfield ("customfield_33749": "this is required value",). i.e it does not contain null like  ("Customefied_23456: "Null"). Please let me know how to proceed in this case.thanks in advance.

Hi All, I'm very new to cloudera cdp, I have just been moved over from MapR.I'm looking to find out, i've looked quite a bit but haven't found anything thus far, if there is a cluster wide tool for doing things in the cluster. i.e. in a mapr cluster, if i wanted to get a list of all hdfs volumes with loads of other info on the volumes,  i could type:"maprcli volume list" and it will give me all the below information.  This is just one example, the maprcli interface into MapR has the following commands (below), i'm just wondering if there is anything similar for CDP so that I could work this into home grown scripts that could easily span clusters. Thanks  full list of mapr commands:acerole    acerole [validate] -role [role_name]acl        acl [show|set|edit] -type [cluster|volume] -name <volume name>alarm      alarm [list|raise|clear|clearall|mute|unmute|config|names|group]audit    &nbsp

Hello Team, can you please advise how I can proceed to:1. Limit the total # of concurrently executing Impala queries system wide2. Limit the memory that an Impala query can use before swapping3. Protect Impala from Yarn contention with Static Service Pools4. Implement Admission Control Queues for different Impala User Groups─ Limit concurrent queries for each queue/pool─ Implement memory limits on the queue/pools and Running Queries5. Put a disk limit on runaway queries specifying the maximum amount of diskstorage, in bytes, that any Impala query can consume on any host on Cloudera? Thanks, Roshan

Hello,I would like some guidance/ information on data distribution in Kudu T-Servers.We have Kudu cluster of 3 Masters and 9 T-Servers (each t-server has storage of 1TB). We are noticing that space in some t-server is getting consumed rapidly whereas in other its not that much being consumed. Would like to know why this is happening and is there any way this can be overcome, so that data can be distributed evenly across of 9 t-servers.Kudu 1.7.0-cdh5.16.2/ CM 5.16.2 Appreciate any assistance in this regard. ThanksWert
