Is there any preferred automated code deployment tools for HDP ? Where can I find details on Best Practices for code deployment in Hadoop ?

I don't think there is any preferred tool.

I have seen a lot of customers use Github + Jenkins and maven/sbt for build ( potentially with internal repositories )
