CDH 5.4.1 - Yarn Hight Availability does not work

Hi all

on the version 5.3.1 appear the following bug : https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-2865

And for that i installed the version 5.4.1 but appear a similar problem with the HA.

somebody knows how can we fixed?

YARN-2865 is fixed in CDH 5.3.3 and later and CDH 5.4.0 and later.

You are most likely seeing something that looks like YARN-2865 but is slightly different.

Unless the change for YARN-2865 is incorrect, which could also happen.

Can you please share the logs that show the exception.

Maybe is a problem with the CM Agent version?

Cloudera Manager is not involved in YARN HA. You configure it through CM but after that the RMs handle the HA side using the zookeeper quorum.

Logs will be the easiest and quickest to find an answer. Just a snipper around the failover should do it.
