CDH 5.8

We currently have CDH 5.7.2 Cluster, and want to upgrade to 5.8. Is there a documentation, that we can use to do this transistion?

Hello, this is the official documentation CDH 5.8 official upgrade doc  . I think the critical point it's the kafka upgrade version from 0.8 (1 ) to 0.9 ( 2 ) if you have a custom application that is using kafka as a distributed queue system.

@matdba, can you clarify your comments on Kafka?  Kafka is currently not part of the CDH parcel and is upgraded separately as documented here:
