Can't access Ambari home page with the default password or admin password

I downloaded the HDP sandbox 2.4 and followed the instructions to install. I am able to long in using root password. But when I access ambari homepage through any browser, the user/password maria_dev/maria_dev do not work. I reset the admin password as per the documentation, but still can't access with the admin user and the new password. Please let me know what I am missing here. Thanks.

I found the issue to be that I have Oracle database XE's http interface using the same port 8080. I changed the Oracle port to a different number and things are working fine now.
