Default Python version in Exam VM?

Does anyone know the default Python version present in Exam CDH environment?  For instance my Quick Start VM 5.12 has a default version of Python 2.6.6.  Is that the same version present in exam environment?

I understand Exam CDH cluster comes with 2.7 & 3.4, but which one is default?

I just heard back that Python 2.7 is the default.
