Do we have tag carry forward in atlas hdp2.6.1 ?

I am using atlas Tag sync and Data lineage functionality under hdp2.6.1, then I have got a requirement to work on Tag carry forward. So I am just wondering whether we have this functionality or not ?

Actually if we have table a where we have linked tag to column of this table and later we create another table b then all linked tag will be carry forward or not ?

Currently this functionality does not exist with HDP 2.6.1. However, we are working on building it so expect to see it in a future release. The caveat is that some clients do not want to propagate tags automatically, so it will likely be an optionally enabled feature.

@Eyad Garelnabi - Will the optionality on tag propagation be system wide, or would it be possible to exclude some tags from being propagated whilst propagating others?

@Laura Ngo, this is work in progress and we will be adding functionality to restrict certain tags from propagation using relationships. For more information on relationships: ATLAS-1690
