Getting 'publicIP' error when installing Cloudbreak on Azure

avatar

Following the documented instructions for installing Cloudbreak on Azure, I continue to get the following error:

Unable to evaluate template outputs: 'publicIp'. Please see error details and deployment operations. Please see http://aka.ms/arm-debug for usage details. (Code: DeploymentOutputEvaluationFailed)

The template output 'publicIp' is not valid: Template language expression property 'ipAddress' doesn't exist, available properties are 'provisioningState, resourceGuid, publicIPAllocationMethod, idleTimeoutInMinutes, dnsSettings'. Please see http://aka.ms/arm-template-expressions for usage details.. (Code: DeploymentOutputEvaluationFailed

Any suggestions on how to work around this error?

Hi Scott, I think you can ignore this message and wait for a few more minutes before the machines come up. This may just be a bug.

Thanks @Vedant Jain. You're correct. I tracked down the IP for the vm and was able to login.

Hi @Scott Shaw,

@Vedant Jain is correct, and it is also in the documentation that you linked previously. Section that starts like 'Deployment takes about 15-20 min....' and there could be found the link of the related github issue.
