I am new to hadoop and i just got project.

Can you please help me from where i can start hadoop and get some practicals?

1. The best way is the download sandbox and get started. Please download sandbox using -

http://hortonworks.com/downloads/

Try downloading for Virtual Box / Vmware

2. Try to start with HDP tutorials - http://hortonworks.com/tutorials/

Start with "Hadoop Administration" practicals.

3. If you are looking for Ambari installation then pls check latest doc - http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari/Ambari-2.2.2.0/index.html

For HDP - http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP2/HDP-2.4.2/index.html
