Hello Wondering if anyone knows the timeframe to support kafka 0.9 in HDP ?

We would like to use kafka 0.9 for some of the new java functionality along with other products in HDP. Current version HDP 2.3.2 which supports kafka .0.8.2.3 does not have that functionality. So, wondering when would we expect kafka 0.9 in HDP !

We are releasing 0.9 apache kafka in HDP 2.3.4. We are very close to release.

We expect Kafka 0.9 to be available in HDP2.3.4 but I would defer to @David Schorow @schintalapani for final response and estimated timeline.
