Hi Gurus. I am trying to install HDP 2.4 using ambari in 4 node Centos 7 cluster. But Getting error in the last step as :Hadoop_conf_dir does not exists. Please help me. Thanks in advance

Have you ensured that SELinux is disabled on all nodes? This can wreak havoc as ACLs are not set up on the system for the installation. If SELinux is disabled, can you post the text of the error from /var/log/ambari-server/ambari-server.log?

Thank you for the help.

I resolved the problem by performing python /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/ambari-agent/HostCleanup.py and cleaning up existing hdp-select using yum -y erase hdp-select in all nodes.

I did an installation on CentOS7 very recently with Ambari 2.2.1 and finished without problem. Did you install using the Ambari wizard? Did the problem happened during the last step of the wizard?
