Hive ODBC Driver for HDP 2.3 (v2.0.5) incompatible with OS X 10.11.2?

I am trying to install Hive ODBC Driver for HDP 2.3 (v2.0.5) on my Mac running OS X 10.11.2 but it keeps throwing the error that the application is incompatible with the OS. Is there a different version that I need to install?

@Shantanu Verma that's correct it's not compatible with OSX 10.11. Please view this thread. You need to wait for a new version.

as suggested in the link I provided, you can try the following workaround, didn't try it myself. @Shantanu Verma
