Is Kerberos required for zeppelin hive identity propagation

I have cluster which is NOT kerberized. Is it possible to enable user impersonation for hive queries run from zeppelin? All the documentation seems to require user princple.

Yes you can do user impersonation for hive for without Kerberos for:

• HDP 2.6
• Ambari 2.5

Unfortunately the document related to this is still being worked on by the Docs team.
