Is there an package for HDP Client Tools for Windows 7? For example, can I run hadoop command line statements from PowerShell to a Linux HDP Cluster?

AFAIK, you'd use cygwin and hadoop client libs that you can download from your HDP cluster @Hugo Schieck, alternatively take a look at Ambari HDFS view, Hive and Pig views. They were built for environments with different operating systems.
