Issue with starting Yarn after deploying kerberos on Cloudera Quickstart VM (CDH 5.3.0)

avatar

I am getting below error when trying to start Yarn services on Cloudera Quickstart VM (CDH version 5.3.0). All other services are starting fine and so is kerberos. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

chmod: changing permissions of '/var/run/cloudera-scm-agent/process/53-yarn-NODEMANAGER/container-executor.cfg': Operation not permitted

chmod: changing permissions of '/var/run/cloudera-scm-agent/process/53-yarn-NODEMANAGER/topology.map': Operation not permitted

Note: prior to kerberos deployment, Yarn services were working fine ....
