Single node or VM clusters

Hi,

I'm beginning with Cloudera and Hadoop.

I want to set up a cluster. At the moment, I've got a (huge) machine with the following characteristics :

- 40 Core

- 512 GB RAM

- 12 Discs 10000Tr/s

I want to install Cloudera primarily to run some Impala query.

What the best configuration I have to set ?

4 VM running under VMWare ESXi or a single node install directly on the computer ?

For people who asked the question, I fill here my answer. Cloudera fit very well as a big single node.
