Spark version for Hive table update/delete

Hi,

I would like to know if there is any current version of Spark or any planned future version which support DML operation like update/delete on Hive table. I want to directly update the table using Hive query from Spark SQL.

For now, Hive ACID+Spark is not a supported feature. This is being tracked as Jira SPARK-15348.
