/usr/lib/spark/bin/utils.sh: No such file or directory in CDH-5.2

I've installed cloudera manager and CDH 5.2 on a cluster running Debian 7 and I just noticed that the spark-shell command doesn't work.

rhaase@datanode1:/home/hdfs$ spark-shell
/usr/lib/spark/bin/spark-shell: line 44: /usr/lib/spark/bin/utils.sh: No such file or directory

Is this a bug in the packaging for the spark-shell package?

According to an internet search this is a known issue with the packaging for CDH 5.2 on Debian and Ubuntu, however I was unable to find a JIRA for it.
