we have ambari 2.1 and now need install apache drill, like to know if any issues I need to aware and latesr version drill 1.4 works with ambari 2.1?

You can install drill but you should look into something that is officially support in HDP stack. Hive + Tez is good solution.

Drill is not supported feature and there is no integration with Ambari.
