Cloudera Management Service via Cloudera Manager API?

Is it possible to install Cloudera Management Service via Cloudera Manager API?

On page https://cloudera.github.io/cm_api/apidocs/v18/path__clusters_-clusterName-_services.html are listed services enable at REST API, but ther is no information about Cloudera Management Service.

Can I automate installation process or should I do it using Cloudera Manager Server gui?

Re: Cloudera Management Service via Cloudera Manager API?

@geniosuper,

The API information you seek is /cm/service.

For instance:

https://cloudera.github.io/cm_api/apidocs/v18/path__cm_service.html

You can see various API calls for the Management Service here:

https://cloudera.github.io/cm_api/apidocs/v18/index.html
