Can you please help me in resolving the issue.

I gave 644 permission to /usr/share/cmf/python/Lib. Still it failed with the same error.

[ Edited ]

I understand it's an old thread. But, what did you do to resolve this issue? I get the same error when trying to start Cloudera Manager service as user cloudera-scm. When starting it as root, it works fine.

Thanks

Re: Failed to start cloudera manager service

@vvinaga,

Since it has been a long time since this thread was opened, it would be better for us to start from scratch and have you present your problem, if your server worked before, what you have tried, what the Cloudera Manager logs hows, etc.

Can you share some background information about your issue so we can have a look?

Thanks!
