Adding service to kerberized cluster

Adding service to kerberized cluster

Contributor

Hello All,

I have hadoop cluster set up and kerberos enabled with MIT type and cluster is having basic services like HDFS,yarn,zookeeper,oozie and hive.

I try to add service like hbase,flume ,sqoop and services got added successfully.

My question is after enabling kerberos, there won't be any difference for adding service through cloudera manager?

Please suggest.

Thanks,

@cdhhadoop,

Cloudera Manager automates the creation of any necessary principals if you have Cloudera Manager configured to manage Kerberos Credentials.

In short, then, you should see no difference when adding a service.
