Ambari Services Issue

Hi Team,

I have created customized named as "HDFS Test" service and not able to view Files View, Hive , Hive view 2.0 etc.

I am getting error as

Service 'hdfs' check failed: Invalid URI format.Malformed escape pair at index 7: hdfs://%HOSTGROUP::host_group_1%:8020

Pls advice , how can I make default services enabled or remove "HDFS Test"

What do you exactly mean by "I have created customized named as "HDFS Test" service" ?

If you are talking about the HDFS NameService then it should not contain space. NameService can be like "HDFSTest" (without space)

hdfs://%HOSTGROUP::host_group_1%:8020

The error indicates that the Properties substitution did not happen. When you tried to create your cluster. May be you are using blueprint approach.

Please check your HDFS configuration. "core-site.xml" and "hdfs-site.xml" your configuration is not having the correct address.

Hi , I am not able to see

"core-site.xml" and "hdfs-site.xml" as File View is not working. Could you pls advice where in I can see these two files.

My All Services (HDFS, Hive, Spark, YARN, Oozie, Zookeepar, Flume, Ranger, Zeppelin etc) Heartbeat is lost now.

Can we have mechanism to enable default Ambari services on?. As I have deleted folder from Virtual Machine folder and imported OVA file again on VMWare however still facing the same issues. I am not able to view Files, Hive and Hive View 2.0 etc.

Your help will be appreciated.
