Apache NiFi - Failed to establish connection with AMQP Broker version NIFI.1.8.0

avatar

Hello, I was working with the nifi.1.7.1 version, I updated it to version 1.8.0, however, there is now the error mentioned in the attached image at the time of publication for the AMQP. This processor works correctly in version nifi.1.7.1. Is there a procedure to be performed or is it a BUG version 1.8.0? Thank you!

Julio,

We are seeing a similar error in 1.7.1 ConsumeAMQP, under different circumstances, but the error is the same as you see. The impacts however, are much more severe for us as this causes the Connections from NiFi to be lost, and our Rabbit Cluster to become unheatlhy.

Were you able to get anywhere on your investigation of the root cause?

We are also facing similar issue.

Some points worth mentioning -

  • We have too many producers (IOT) publishing to RabbitMQ leading to very high number of connections on RabbitMQ, might be possible that NiFi Consumer is unable to connect as there are already too many open connections
  • We have multiple channels/topics on same RabbitMQ cluster, we face connectivity issue only for those channels/topics which have very high traffic/connections.
