Balancer is not active
I see 'Rebalance' option in the list, but it's not active.
Why?

The balancer's state is only ever N/A (Not Applicable) or Busy. You should not be concerned if you see an N/A state there.
The balancer role runs whenever you run the Rebalance command, and at all other times it will be in the N/A state. Roles like Gateways and the Balancer that are never started / stopped via the Start / Stop commands usually have the N/A state.

Hi Sergey,
For some reason do you lack a Role type of "Balancer" within that HDFS config? A Balancer role must be present in order for that option to be available. Check in HDFS > Instances to see if a Balancer exists. If not, use the Add button to assign it to one host (it's not terribly critical which host you assign it to).

Hi, it does exist. I did use it last week.
Now it's not available.
Looks like it's still running, that is why it's not available.

Hi, It confuses a little.
CM says that balancer is stopped:
But commands interface says it is running:
