I have a CDH instance which is comes bundled from Oracle Big Data Appliance. Its on CDH CM 6.3.4. I know its already EOS. License expired is soon at 30 March 2024.
Can CDH license renewal still applicable or does subscription to CDP license would work on CDH instance?

A CDP License would not work on your CDH instance. There are two potential options for you to explore. 1. Contact Oracle to discuss options for continued use. 2. Contact Cloudera directly to review your path to CDP with continued use as you migrate. A member of our Sales team can assist you and help you plan accordingly.

hi @azrulafiq901,
the CDP license does not work in a CDH environment.
if Oracle does not have an upgrade plan for CDP 7.x.x, you will have to provide a new cluster that uses the new version of the platform. Contact the Cloudera sales team, they will instruct you on the best path.
a tip:
using Spark3 in CDP will greatly improve your job performance.
