Is there a way to reset user passwords for people who have lost or forgotten their password? Either as an admin or as a user.

Support helped me.

 

For the curious, even if there is no forgot password button you can go to cdsw.whatever.com/forgot-password and reset it.

If you have set the SMTP server for email notifications, you can use the "forgot password" link on the Sign In page. If you have not configured SMTP server and you have lost your admin password, you will need to either reinstall Cloudera Data Science Workbench or contact Cloudera Support for a workaround.

My sign in page doesn't have a 'forgot password' link, but I believe we have the smtp server set up, as I have gotten emails from CDSW.

Do you have LDAP or SAML enabled?  What version of CDSW are you running?

Ldap, but this is not an LDAP account, and 1.0.1
