CM webui unable to login

Hi Team,

User deleted one of the folder from postgres db data/base folder from Flie system level. because of that CM ui unable to login. Can any one support me on this. How to proceed with this. No backup was there.

2023-12-12 06:46:40,880 WARN com.mchange.v2.async.ThreadPoolAsynchronousRunner$PoolThread-#2:com.mchange.v2.resourcepool.BasicResourcePool: com.mchange.v2.resourcepool.BasicResourcePool$AcquireTask@e29de2a -- Acquisition Attempt Failed!!! Clearing pending acquires. While trying to acquire a needed new resource, we failed to succeed more than the maximum number of allowed acquisition attempts (5). Last acquisition attempt exception:
org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: FATAL: could not open file "base/16385/12690": No such file or directory

@hanumanth thanks for reaching out Cloudera Community.

If the backend postgres database has been compromised, a restore would have to be done to be back in a working state. Without a backup, it won't be possible.

I encourage you to please check thoroughly with your team, as most of the time, even when working with support, we create backups of the database - also, some database teams have backup policies.

You can also check if backups have been done by checking the bash history.

Once a database backup has been located, stop the CM server, restore and start back the CM Server, but without a backup, going back to a working state won't be possible.
