Can someone advice on where the MapReduce Log Files are located ?

What I am looking for is the location of the log files which the Hadoop File System writes to as it completes the Map Reduce Job. So all the Logs that get generated as the job completes successfully or fails  which can be used for debugging !

I am using the CDH 4.6 standard edition

I need to know that location .

Have you tried in the /var/logs/hadoop-* or /var/logs/mapred-* locations? These locations might depend on your OS. The ones I gave are typical for Red Hat Enterprise.
