Hey there,
we're running CDP Private Cloud Base in 7.1.9 in 4 different Stages (Lab, DEV, QA and Prod). Is it possible to add a banner in different colours to the different WebUIs so that we can always distinguish the stages well? Like changing the colours in Cloudera Manager?
Thanks and Regards,
Timo

Hello @Timo ,
Some WebUIs support this, but most do not. For example, Hue can have a custom banner and the steps to make that work are here: https://docs.cloudera.com/cdp-private-cloud-base/7.1.9/administering-hue/topics/hue-add-custom-web-u...
Hope that helps,
Alex

@Timo Thank you for bringing this to our community.
You may follow @aakulov s' suggestion for Hue. However, if this ask is about Cloudera Manager UI, Please try the following:
For Cloudera Manager Custom Header Color
The custom header color is used to distinguish different instances of Cloudera Manager.
CM > Administration > Settings(Scope) > Custom Header Color
For Cloudera Manager Custom Banner Text
The custom banner is used to display customer specific text in the header area.
CM > Administration > Settings(Scope) > Custom Banner Text
Bonus:
For Cloudera Manager Custom Information Assurance Policy Text
An information assurance policy statement that must be agreed to in order for a user to login.
CM > Administration > Settings(Scope) > Custom Information Assurance Policy Text
