Cloudera Manager 5.10 - Error when accessing alert screen

Hello,

I've upgraded Cloudera Manager from version 5.9 to 5.10 and the alerts admin is not working anymore.

I get the following error :

I can't recall having seen this one before, so I'd really like to see more of the call stack.  Can you check in the Cloudera Manager log to see if there is a tidy stack you can share.  It would help provide some context for the offending NPE.

Cloudera Manager code is not public, though I assume that @GustavoVarisco used a decompiler... I hope anyway.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you, but as @GustavoVarisco says we do not check for (and probably don't expect) v to be null.

Cloudera is investigating.  While we can address the NPE result directly, we are interested in learning what conditions lead to this to see if there may be something else that needs improvement.  I'll check back soon to let you know where we are.

We are still looking at it and deciding on the best solution.  Mainly we are making sure that we understand the underlying cause of why an object can be null now when in pre-5.10 versions this problem wasn't reported.
