Config files location in HDP2.5 when accessed from WinSCP

I have installed HDP2.5 Sandbox on VMWare Player and trying to download configuration files (.xml) using WinSCP. I need these files to be deployed in my client application to access HDP2.5. The files I need to download are

1) /etc/hadoop/conf - core-site.xml, hdfs-site.xml, mapred-site.xml, yarn-site.xml

2) /etc/hbase/conf - hbase-site.xml

3) /etc/hive/conf - hive-site.xml

4) /etc/oozie/conf - oozie-site.xml

In HDP2.4, I use to download from these locations under /etc folder. But in HDP2.5, I don't see these folder under /etc. I using WinSCP to download.

Can you please help me on this?

Yes, then that's the right path.

Hello @Chandra Manohar,

You also can try to download them from ambari:

  1. Go to service which config files you want to download
  2. Click on "service actions"
  3. Click on "Download Client Configs"

You have to do this for each service client you need.
