Create Hive Metastore Fail of "Unable to generate config file creds.localjceks"

Hi Experts,

I set the Mysql as the Hive Metastore. When I tried to create Hive metastore via Cloudera Manager, there have following issues:

Could not create process: com.cloudera.cmf.service.config.ConfigGenException: Unable to generate config file creds.localjceks

Does any experts have idea about this issue? Thanks a lot

Hi Justin,

Do we have anything in the CM server logs apart from this ? Try to restart the CM server and see how it goes. If it is a new cluster then probably check the Java version is compatible or not. The below link will be able to show Java compatible details for CDP and HDP :
