HDP 3.1 to CDP 7.1 upgrade

Our Client has HDP 3.1 Installed and we want to upgrade it to CDP 7.x version.Is it possible to upgrade inline or we have to create new cluster on CDP 7.x and then migrate data and applications.

@ThinkBig Upgrades from HDP 3.x to CDP Private Cloud Base are not currently supported.

The best way is to build new CDP cluster and then migrate the Data using Replication Manager or any alternate way which suits you.

Also I would encourage you to contact Cloudera for planning a better migration plan since you already have subscription.
