Hi
I want to upgrade our cluster to HDP3.
However I can not access to "public" repo describe in doc (for instance https://archive.cloudera.com/p/ambari/centos7/2.x/updates/2.7.5.0/ambari.repo
) because an authentication is now required.
Does the community edition still exist or do we need to subscribe a paying subscription even if we do not need support ?

@Regis Previously open source, the new versions of ambari (2.7.5) and HDP (3.1.5) have moved behind a paywall in an open core strategy. You cannot access them without cloudera subscription.
I recommend to use the last free versions: Ambari 2.7.4 and HDP 3.1.4.

Hi Steven,
May I know that if we using the Ambari 2.7.4 from http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com.
In future, do we still can use it as free repo?

@singyik Yes. I believe that is the last free public repo. Who knows how long it will remain. If you are using it i would recommend to fully copy and use the copy.
