I use the following url to install HDF 2.0 on Redhat 7 using Ambari 2.4.0.
During the cluster configuration of Ambari, the URL verification fails for HDP-UTIL. Please find the attached file.
I have verified the http url for hdp-util and it works fine from a browser.
An early response is well appreciated.
Thanks
Sam

My apologies.. The issue was due to reference of HDF repo file pointing to
HDP-UTILS-1.1.0.21.
I took a short cut to use HDP-UTILS-1.1.0.20 which came along with HDP installation. Now I downloaded the
HDP-UTILS-1.1.0.21 stack from hortonworks and it working perfectly fine.
Thanks you for your support.

Thanks Sharma for your response.
Here is the link
http://<servername>.<domain>.<name>.gov/HDPUTILS/repos/centos7/.
I verified there is no space at the end or beginning of URL.

As an alternative I removed sub domain of URL and used only hostname
but still fails with the same error.Created 10-18-2016 01:36 PM
Sorry I have to mention, I used the local repository for HDF installation as the servers has no internet access. Having said that I was successful to install HDP using local repository.
