HDPCD Exam Result Issue

Hi Friends,

On 31-Mar-2018, I gave HDPCD exam.

At the end I was informed by the proctor that result will be intimated within 5 business days.

It's almost 7 working days now, still I am waiting for the result.

I have already written to certification@hortonworks.com and my request number is #12624.

But I have not heard from HW support team since.

Please let me know whether they have any separate email id, or any Customer Care Contact number where I can call.

Unfortunately I'm nothing to do with training however I have reached out to the training team and someone should get back to you.

@Santanu Ghosh, apologies, I just checked and your exam was graded on April 2, 2018, you should have received the results via email on the same day. I will have your results resent to you. Again, apologies for the delay.

Hortonworks is a great company, great product but I think it should recognize it has a big problem with its exam provider.Complaints about the exam environment and the subsequent delivery is very poor and appaling. Personally, I also sat for my exam and passed my exam but I encountered the same problem on my first attempt network issues and overzealous proctors luckily enough after a couple of emails I was refunded with a Free with exam eCredit.

Its a shame that many to be hortonworks developers/engineers are getting frustrated with the PSI exam environment but hortonworks is doing nothing to resolve the problem, delays in delivering exam results are unacceptable when there is an SLA.

If hortonworks wants consultants to deliver your products and compete with other vendors for its promotion I think they should rethink the exam delivery process for God's sake.

I agree to your points.

Whatever may be the outcome of the exam, they should intimate the result within stipulated time.

Anyway, I am hoping that soon I will hear from them.

Meanwhile, would you please help me on how to reach to HW people other than the certification email id.

Who is this William Gonzalez you have mentioned ? and how can I get in touch with him ?

My ticket has been raised bearing number (14063) but i have't got any response yet.

I need my certification result as soon as possible
