We have a newly installed Kerberized cluster, and I seem to have some type of local issue with my ODBC connection. I've got the MIT client, have a freshly renewed ticket, and am connecting via http as the Thrift transport. My colleagues seem to make the connection OK, I am using identical configuration settings -- but I get two requests to renew the ticket when I attempt to test the connection, and then I get this error back:
Failed to establish connection SQLSTATE: HY000[Hortonworks][Support] (50360) Integrated security authentication failed. (Routine Error: Unspecified GSS failure. Minor code may provide more information Mechanism Info: No credentials cache found Major: 851968 Minor: 2529639107
Any hints on where the error might be coming in would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You dont have the ticket. Please make sure that MIT client did issue the ticket for HS2

@Wendy Foslien Perhaps you are having the same problem I had, see here: How to connect Kerberized Hive via ODBC and avoid the “No credentials cache found” error
