Hive MetaStore Canary Fails every month

We are receiving HMS canary issues in our env almost every month and I can see below log entires -

ERROR org.apache.hadoop.hive.metastore.RetryingHMSHandler: [pool-5-thread-193]: Retrying HMSHandler after 2000 ms (attempt 1 of 10) with error: javax.jdo.JDOException: Exception thrown when executing query

ERROR org.apache.hadoop.hive.metastore.RetryingHMSHandler: [pool-5-thread-200]: AlreadyExistsException(message:Database cloudera_manager_metastore_canary_test_db_hive_HIVEMETASTORE_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx already exists)

Any suggestions/pointer to find the root cause of this issue?

Is your cluster Kerberized if so can you regenerate the Kerberos credentials in Cloudera Manager by following the below steps follows?

In Cloudera Manager navigate: Administration > Security > Kerberos Credentials > Select the credentials to regenerate > Regenerate Selected

Ensure you've selected the correct credentials to generate.
