CDH 5.7.0 includes Hive 1.1.0 with additional patches. Changing the version
of an individual component in the distribution is neither trivial nor
supported.

Is there a particular patch or feature in 2.0.0 you're looking for? You
might want to look at our branch of the source code (
https://github.com/cloudera/hive/tree/cdh5-1.1.0_5.7.0). Although the
release is based on the 1.1.0 Apache release, other patches may have been
backported to Cloudera's release, so it's possibly CDH 5.7.0 already
includes what you're looking for.

I am looking for hive 2.0 for its one of the new feature. Hive 2.0 is now included HPL/SQL function which we do not have it in Hive version 1.1

Is there any best way so we could run PL/SQL quries in Cloudera 5.7.0 cluster.
