Hive external table Druid - vertex failed

Hi,

When I try to run a select including "where ..." I get an error message:

Error: Error while processing statement: FAILED: Execution Error, return code 2 from org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.exec.tez.TezTask. There is a ConnectException to localhost? Is this the root cause and how can I fix it?

Thank you in advance.

It is failing when trying to connect to druid-broker.

Check following things -

1. you have set property "hive.druid.broker.address.default" in hive to correct "<broker-ip>:<port>" value

2. druid broker is running, you can check this by hitting "http://<broker-ip>:<port>/status" HTTP endpoint.

There is no option "hive.druid.broker.address.default"? Which version is required?
