Hive metastore goes down without any error logs

Hello All,

I am trying to configure hive in my local single node cluster.

successfully it is installed and i have started but after one or two minutes it goes down with put any error logs.

I tried to tail the logs but i could not find anywhere in my local system.

Please suggest me.

try increasing heap size for metastore. Make sure DB connection is working fine.

Does the hive service check pass when metastore is up? Also, can you try to increase the Hive metastore heap size?

How did you install Hive (through Ambari or manually)? Can you check /var/log/hive/hivemetastore.log?

Check /var/log/hive/hivemetastore.out as well.
