Hive "Interactive query" is disabled but "hive.execution.mode" is set to llap

Hi, Hive documentation says only when "Interactive query" is ON, LLAP will be enabled. In the default Hive installation settings, "Interactive query" option is OFF but "hive.execution.mode" is set to "llap". Will the "hive.execution.mode" value be discarded if "Interactive query" is set to OFF?

I think you might be looking at Ambari settings.

Ambari will install and run 2 kinds of hiveservers when Interactive query is enabled; but in the "advanced" section you always see both hiveserver's configurations; as long as "Interactive query" is off; the hive site of the interactive hs2 is not in action
