Hortonworks data plane service installation

New Contributor

Hi,

I'm trying to install DataPlane service in my machine having centOS 6.9.
i'm facing issue in Setting Up the Local Repository DPS Installation.

i was trying to browse to the newly created local repositories by using the base

URLs: http://<webserver-host-name>/<repo-name>/<OS>/<service-version-X>;

Actually i'm not able to figure out the repo name and version number of the downloaded repository with an appended unique number.

please help me with version number and repo name.

Thanks in advance

The following doc provides the details: https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/DPS1/DPS-1.0.0/bk_dps-installation/content/set_up_a_local_...

Syntax:

http://<webserver-host-name>/<repo-name>/<OS>/<service-version-X>;

Example:

http://my-repo-server/DP/centos7/1.0.0.0-100

<webserver-host-name> : This is the FQDN of the web server host.
<repo-name> :
This is composed of the abbreviated name of the repository, such as DP, DLM, DSS.
<OS>:
This is the operating system version.
<service-version-X>: This is the version number of the downloaded repository with an appended unique number.
