How beeline works with jdbc and hiveserver2. What is the internal steps while beeline connect with hiveserver2 through jdbc.

Hive CLI talks to Hive Metastore via a thrift call,

However Beeline talks to HiveServer2 which in turn interacts with the Hive Metastore (embedded or remote)

Beeline is the primary recommended way to access Hive. This approach uses SQL standard-based authorization or Ranger-based authorization.
