Perhaps the question needs to be rephrased:

How can Druid be configured to use Hive with LLAP? What are the actual steps to get this working?

@Samir Sinha To be clear only hive can use/query druid. The idea is that Hive is a bigger more capable engine that can take advantage of Druid cluster. In that sense, you need to configure Hive by pointing it to druid cluster that will allow you to query Druid via Hive. This has several advantages like using SQL as query language as oppose to Json, be able to perform Joins that druid doesn't support etc ... Please let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks Slim. I've found the instructions for configuring Hive with LLAP. Where can I find instructions to point Hive to the druid cluster - so that Hive can use Druid?
