I need password when I downloaded new version(Ambari 2.7.5 and HDP 3.1.5).
I read the document from here(https://docs.cloudera.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-2.7.5.0/bk_ambari-installation/content/access_ambari_p...),and then I opened url(https://my.cloudera.com) in the document and did not know how to get the user and password. So, aren't they open source anymore?

Please reach out to your local Cloudera contact person. If you don't have one, this is a good starting point.
To avoid confusion: The platform is definitely open source, but for the recent (and future) downloads and security patches an agreement with your company is needed to gain access.

The following link talks about how to obtain the password.
Authentication credentials for new customers and partners are provided in an email sent from Cloudera to registered support contacts. Existing users can file a non-technical case within the support portal (<a href="<a href="https://my.cloudera.com" target="_blank">https://my.cloudera.com</a>" target="_blank"><a href="https://my.cloudera.com</a" target="_blank">https://my.cloudera.com</a</a>>) to obtain credentials.

Yeah,I know it !
But when I clicked the button(Create Case) in supportPortal, I jumped to another page, which told I do not have permissions.
What should I do next?Thanks.

I don't think it's good idea. It's too much of a hassle to download, especially for people who aren't your company customers.
Anyway, thanks for your reply !

For access to the versions intended for production, you would indeed need to be a customer.
However for a quick glance there are some more accessible paths, for instance the HDP sandbox, or the CDP free trial.
These can be used by anyone without being a customer, but may not contain the latest version for instance.

We have contacted cloudera sales online or by calling, but nobody is even calling back. What's going on, they don't want customers for HDP anymore?

@Xin1 I will reach out to my sales contacts and ask them to contact you.

Dennis, Thanks for your kind answer, but -> I'm not a company, I'm a person trying to use open source software to learn and contribute like anyone else ... if Cloudera claims that his software is open source so why an agreement is needed? It shouldn't, it defeats completely the purpose.
I'm not signing any "agreements", either the code is free on NOT, as simple as that!!
If NOT, then just say so ... Stop using "open source" as a fashion flag, this will simply diminish the real coders that produce and put their code available REALLY FOR FREE!!
If Cloudera got the free code available and built upon on and now wants to sell it, OK, I have no problem with that, but DONT say it is opne source, because it isn't if you charge for it ...
Sorry, but this is so obvious to me ... am I so blind, dumb or missing anything here?

You need to have a support subscription to create a technical case with Cloudera, please check with your account team regarding the subscription details.
Once you have the valid subscription and member of a support team then you can create the cases.
