How to connect to AD KDC

Contributor

Hello All,

Our cluster has CentOS7 installed and we are using AD KDC for user management and authentication.

In MIT KDC we used 'kadmin' command to get admin access of KDC.

How should I get admin access of AD KDC?

Please suggest.

Thanks,

Bhushan

kdamin and kadmin.local are MIT KDC specific tools. To perform management functions in an Active Directory you need to use the Active Directory specific tools on the Windows server. However, it is possible to perform some management functions like create accounts and set passwords using generic LDAP tools like the OpenLDAP ldapadd, ldapmodify, ldapsearch utilities.

Take a look at How to create AD principal accounts using OpenLdap utilities and adding it to a keytab for more info on using those tools.
